Christian Death
Christian Death is widely considered the founding band of death rock. Formed in 1979, their dark, gothic sound blended punk with macabre themes and atmospheric music. Their debut album, Only Theatre of Pain (1982), set the tone for the death rock genre with haunting vocals, dark imagery, and a heavy, brooding sound.

Kommunity FK
Formed in 1978, Kommunity FK played a crucial role in the early death rock movement. Their music blends elements of punk, goth, and industrial sounds, creating an eerie, post-punk vibe. Albums like The Vision and the Voice (1983) helped establish the band’s dark, atmospheric style and influence on the genre.

45 Grave
